Just a few DIYs

Since moving into the house in June, I have been immersed in trying to make our little house a home.  I have to admit:  decorating an entire home is very intimidating.  I constantly question my choices and decisions.  I have a hard time describing the design style it is turning into.  It's so hard!  I wish I could just snap my fingers and have a perfectly decorated home.

A few things about my home design are clear:

-I hate clutter. I wanted to focus on clean lines
-I love rustic/shabby-chic/industrial touches and am trying to incorporate them throughout the home.  I still have so many DIY projects on the horizon that focus on this very part!
-I love modern design elements when it comes to furniture and staging
-I love a cozy, homey home environment

So based on that, my house design style is a combination of modern meets rustic with industrial elements.  I guess?

Anywho.  Here are a few of the DIY projects I have had the opportunity to complete so far.  If I had more time and more money, I would be soo much further along in this process!!

Burlap Bulletin Board

You can find a link to the original I used as inspiration for this project here.

Blk and White Canvas Gallery Wall (still working on adding more pictures to complete the wall)

Each canvas photo hand made :)

Rustic Photo Frame

Linen closet baskets

These are the baskets I used in my linen closet makeover you can find here.

Chalkboard Storage Containers

Entry Vase

Fall Wreath

Valentine's Wreath

Laundry Room Command Center

That's just a few of the little crafts I have worked on since we moved.  I have so much more in progress!

Let me know what you guys think and I would be happy to share more about a specific project.  I am happy to share if interested!

Until next time.....
