27 Weeks

How far along? 27 weeks
Baby Size: As big as a Rutabaga!
Total weight gain:  25-30lbs- its been fluctuating but huge to say the least
Maternity clothes?  Yes, along with most of my regular clothes
Stretch marks? Nope.  Just really ugly dark patches around my belly, breasts, and armpits :(  I really hope they go away after baby.
Sleep:  Still just plain uncomfortable.  Toss and turn all night and wake up sore.  My guess is this is not going to get any better but I still hold out hope that I will get a good nights rest again one day
Best moment this week:  This week was pretty normal.  We watched the Super Bowl with friends and knocked off a few more things from the list to prepare for baby.  His room is now completely cleaned out and ready for paint.  Daddy installed his crib and bassinet.  I went out and purchased his bedding as well.  So many more things to do over the next 3 months!

Miss Anything? Sleeping comfortably, my body
Movement:  He has been very busy in there and moves a lot.  I have to admit, it is very difficult for me to tell the difference in baby movements and braxton hicks contractions.   I hope I notice when my body start to go into labor!
Food cravings: Still loving the snacks

Gender: It's a BOY!

Looking forward to:  His custom barn door coming in for the nursery.  I am super excited about it! Also looking forward to Valentine's Day with hubby.

  1. Your bump is simply gorgeous!

You will know the difference with BH and contractions when you go in to labour- but you are doing amazingly well! By this stage I was ready to be over and done with and my legs were so sore!!

My legs are actually starting to get really sore so I thinking I am approaching that stage too!
